HIP HOP TID BITS

Ms. Kelly

My favorite Destiny Child member Kelly Rowland premiered her video, “Like This” featuring Eve on TRL yesterday. Did anyone catch it? Her album is scheduled to drop June 26. Please check out an in depth interview with Ms. Kelly on YBF.com. Kelly covers a lot including her relationship with Mr. Knowles and the reason for the album delay.

E V E

My second favorite rapper turned actress EVE is gracing the cover of Giant magazines April/May issue. Inside the magazine, Eve talks about it all, the cancellation of her show, the rumored white African
boyfriend, the recent state f hip-hop and her future plans. The photos in the mag are fabulous, creative and one the best from EVE. Please pick up the new issue of Giant for the complete interview and to see the great photos.

TIMBALAND & JUSTIN & BRITNEY
Unconfirmed rumors are swirling around saying Timaland, Justin & Britney may be off to a Los Angles recording studio to record an updated version of “Your All I Need to Get By” a 1968 hit made by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell. Time will tell I’m sure.

BUSTA RHYMES AND HIS LEGAL PROBLEMS

It appears that Busta will have to stand trail for two assault charges that were settled. Judge Tanya Kennedy withdrew a March 26 offer, which would have allowed Rhymes to plead guilty to a third degree assault, a misdemeanor. The offer would’ve allowed Rhymes to serve five days of community service, two weeks of youth lectures and six months of anger management.

Rhymes was arrested again, this time for driving with a suspended license and the plea deal is gone. Rhymes is allegedly accused of assaulting his former driver Edward Hatchett over back pay, the other for allegedly assaulting a fan that spit on his Maybach in Manhattan.

Rhymes was prepared to accept the previous plea deal and his arrest came two days after he rejected a plea bargain from prosecutors, who originally offered Rhymes six moths jail. Prosecutors then offered Rhymes a new offer that would have allowed him to avoid a trail, but called for the rapper to serve one year in jail concurrently for both of the assault charges.

Trail is scheduled for May 8th for both assault charges.

Busta should be well aware that NYPD (may) have an issue with him since he continues to be of no assistance to them in the shooting death of his bodyguard Israel Ramirez last year.

Busta please be aware and stop giving these……something to fuck with you for.

Stay tuned.

Till we meet again,
